My Experience with NYX Pump It Up Lip Plumper Elizabeth:

Packaging: NYX plump it up lip plumper comes in a sturdy, clear tube packaging with screw cap. It has shade number written at the bottom. The cap has sponge doe-foot applicator attached to it. The doe applicator is easy to work with. All the necessary information regarding the product is written over the tube. Further, the lip plumper comes sealed with cellophane to prevent it from any kind of tampering. Overall, the packaging is sleek, travel-friendly and easy to work with.

Shade and Pigmentation: The shade “Elizabeth” is defined as soft mauve pink. The shade seems to be too opaque when looking at the tube, but when applied it is actually sheer with a wash of mauve-pink shade. As you can see, I have heavily pigmented upper lips and corners, while lightly pigmented lower lip. The shade is not able to cover up the upper lip pigmentation, but it somehow manages to make the lower pigmentation less visible. However, I am not complaining as I knew it before purchasing and didn’t mind it being sheer at all. The shade is not buildable as it appears to be streaky if layered to intensify the pigment. Also, there is no significant fragrance to it.

Texture: The lip plumper has a soft, smooth and creamy texture with a bit of stickiness and stickiness can be felt while applying and pressing lips together. The consistency is thick, but I don’t find any difficulty in applying the product. It gets spread over the lips without any tugging or pulling. The doe-foot applicator makes the application easy and quick. The lip plumper does not have any kind of bold shine to it.

Staying Power: It stays on my lips for nearly 3 hours without any meal. Not to mention, it cannot survive any kind of meal. It transfers as well. The plumping effect remains there throughout the wear time.

Result: When the lip plumper is applied over the lips, there is a tingling sensation instantly. The sensations are mild and remain there for a few minutes. I don’t find the sensations unbearable or hurting. All the tingling sensations lead to the plumping of the lips. The plumping is not too much, but I definitely find my lips look a bit plumped and super hydrated which makes them look natural. It also makes the lips appear smoother and if you have texture lips, you will definitely like its after effect. Also, if you have very thin lips, the effect could be much visible on you. The lip plumper keeps the lips hydrated throughout the wear time.
