Fuchsia is one of my most favorite lip colors. It complements my fair skin tone and instantly brightens up my complexion. It looks so pretty after application. So, could ‘Note Cosmetics Ultra Rich Color Lip Pencil 04 Fuchsia’ impress me much? Let’s find out.

My Experience with Note Cosmetics Ultra Rich Color Lip Pencil 04 Fuchsia:

There are six pretty shades to choose from in this range. I picked up only one shade, i.e. “Fuchsia” from this range as I wanted to check the quality first. But, I guess I am going to try other shades as well because this one fared quite well. I have a lot of pretty pink and purple shades of lipsticks, and that’s why I picked up this lip pencil.

This lip pencil can be paired with pretty pink and purple shades. I love pairing this lip pencil with my Colorbar Matte Touch Lipstick – Arresting Pink and it looks so gorgeous after application. I completely fill in my lips with this lip colour and then apply my Colorbar lipstick on top of it. This combo looks very pretty and I get intense color on my lips.

This lip liner glides easily without tugging or pulling. It glides smoothly on the lips with ease. The texture is very smooth and creamy. It is so smooth that most of the product gets over in a couple of swipes and you may have to sharpen it again for further use. Basically, it easily becomes blunt and a lot of product gets transferred to the sharpener. Although it doesn’t smudge on the lips after application the product smudges a little in the packaging.

When I try to sharpen the pencil, I do not get a sharp tip but that’s okay as even this tip performs well. If it were an eye pencil I would definitely prefer a sharper tip every time. The packaging of the product is decent. This pencil comes in a color-coded packaging. You can reach out for this pencil from the stash by looking at the bottom of this pencil. The name and the shade have also been mentioned on the pencil. Each pencil has been given a code as well.

The shade ‘Fuchsia’ has been given a code ’04’ and the other pencils from this range have their respective codes too. It doesn’t come with a sharpener, so I may not consider this pencil while travelling as I would have to carry an extra sharpener to sharpen it. We always tend to use products that occupy minimal space in our makeup bag while travelling and this definitely doesn’t belong to my travel-friendly product list.

Overall, I really love how this one looks after application. I pretty much like the shade and this shade would complement fair and medium skin tones well. Usually, lip pencils have a dry, matte and powdery finish and this one’s the same. It delivers a matte finish, but since the texture is smooth and creamy, it doesn’t make the lips very dry. It does settle into the fine lines of the lips but doesn’t flake.

It lasts for a very long time but isn’t waterproof. I use this shade not just to contour my lips but also to fill my lips completely with this gorgeous shade. If I want a glossy look I top my lips with some petroleum jelly after filling in my lips with this pencil. I am happy I got a very functional pencil at an affordable price. Plus, I totally love the colour.
