Lakme Blush and Glow Gel Face Wash Lemon Review

Lakme has launched few new products recently. As summer is finally here I couldn’t resist myself from buying their ‘Lemon’ gel face wash from the ‘Blush and Glow’ range. Read on to know how it fared for me.

My Experience with Lakme Blush and Glow Gel Face Wash Lemon:

This face wash comes in the standard Lakme face wash packaging. It is a semi-clear tube with a white flip cap. This tube is yellowish orange in colour. I like this pretty tube and the dispenser provides the right amount of product at once. This Lemon face wash has a mild citrus smell to it. I was expecting a stronger fragrance. The fresh fragrance stays on the skin for an hour or so after usage.

Anyway, this face wash smells fresh and fruity, and I quite like this fragrance. This face wash has a nice, golden orange coloured, thick gel-like consistency, which is a little sticky. When I put it on my palm, it feels sticky and I need to massage it between my palms to create foam. I can easily apply it on my face once it lathers.

After foaming it glides smoothly on the face and feels very gentle. It does not spread easily if I apply it directly to my face. Otherwise, it lathers well and is easy to rinse also. This face wash contains some micro scrubbing particles but they are too tiny to exfoliate the skin. I can’t even feel them.

Still, the face wash is very gentle on the skin and has never irritated my normal to dry skin. This face wash cleanses my skin deeply and removes all the dirt and impurities from the skin. It makes the skin fresh, clear and smooth. This face wash works well and also effectively removes all the excess oil from pores. It doesn’t dry out my skin.

It is cream face wash but works nicely for my skin type. Since the weather is very hot, this face wash works nicely for me and feels refreshing. This face wash also provides a nice amount of hydration to all skin types. It never makes my skin feel stretchy and feels quite soothing on the skin.

I really like this face wash more than the other variants. But, as usual, this face wash also can’t add any blush or glow to the skin. Definitely, my skin looks bright and glowing but there isn’t any drastic change. Still, I like the fact that this face wash makes my skin healthy and smooth.

Overall, it is a nice, everyday face wash, which adds softness, smoothness and freshness to the skin. It doesn’t bring any huge changes but I feel good after using this face wash and I also like its smell.
