Today’s review is all about Himalaya youth eternity day cream SPF 15. I bought the complete set of day cream, night cream and eye cream for my mum. She is in her late 40s and has pigmented skin. Hence, when I came across the claims made by the brand, I thought of giving the products to her for trying out. Let’s get into the review to know more about this day cream.

How to Use:
Apply Youth Eternity Day Cream liberally on thoroughly cleansed face and neck, once or twice a day. For best results, use daily along with Himalaya Youth Eternity Night Cream and Himalaya Youth Eternity under Eye Cream.

My Experience with Himalaya Youth Eternity Day Cream SPF 15:

Packaging: Himalaya youth eternity day cream SPF 15 comes in three variable sizes. The smallest of all, 10 ml, comes in a tube while the 20 ml and 50 ml variants come in a bottle with pump dispenser. I really like when a brand provides smaller size variant also. It gives you a chance to try out the product first by purchasing smallest of the size. Following the same, initially I bought her the 20 ml variant and when she liked it, then I bought the biggest one. The bottle is very lightweight and can be easily traveled with. Only directions to use is written over the bottle. The bottle has outer cardboard packaging which house all the information regarding the product. Unfortunately, my mum threw away the cardboard packaging.

Texture and Fragrance: This day cream has very soft, velvety texture and medium consistency. It spreads over the skin very easily and does not take time to get absorbed. It has pale baby pink color and mild, pleasant fragrance. The fragrance is very subtle, fresh and does not irritate the nose.

Usage/Result:
When coming to the usage, she applies two pea sizes for her face and neck and massage for a few seconds. The cream gets absorbed into the skin within a minute without leaving any sheen or residue behind. The formula is lightweight and doesn’t feel heavy on the skin.

After getting absorbed into the skin, the cream makes it hydrated and nourished. It provides the skin with a soft dewy finish and leaves it velvety soft. The skin does not feel greasy or heavy. It makes the skin softer, smoother and bouncy instantly. The plumpness and smoothness preps the skin for makeup. The foundation glides over the skin effortlessly on its own.

When talking about the signs of ageing, my mum’s skin has started developing fine lines. With the regular usage, the cream has plumped up the skin and smoothened out the fine lines to an extent. Her skin is much softer and radiant than before. This cream hasn’t shown any significant effect on her pigmented skin, but helped a lot in treating uneven patches. With continued usage, it makes the skin even-toned, removing dull and dry patches. The formula of this day cream appears to be gentle; hence, I don’t think it will work satisfactorily for extremely matured skin. Moreover, I think that the entire youth eternity range is also suitable for those who are about to start their anti-ageing regime soon as preventative measures.

My mum has super sensitive skin and only a handful of products suit her. Earlier, she tried using the various anti- ageing products, but most of them irritated her skin. Moreover, she had well past experience with Himalaya products and even their youth eternity range suited her satisfactorily. Hence, if you also have mature, super-sensitive skin, you may opt out for this range. However, do not expect pigmentation to fade miraculously.
