Key Ingredients:
Neem is an excellent skin care ingredient known for its antibacterial properties. It improves general skin health and combats bacterial infections such as acne. Neem tackles bacteria from the root and prevents pimples and blemishes.

How to Use:
Pull out a wipe and use it to gently cleanse the face, neck, and eye area. Carefully reseal bag after use with the self-adhesive label to prevent the wipes from drying out.

My Experience with Himalaya Purifying Neem Facial Wipes:

Packaging: Himalaya purifying neem wipes comes in a small, compact and very basic plastic package. On the top of the package, it has self-adhesive label that reseals the bag after every usage. The label seals perfectly and does not let the wipe dry out. Moreover, the label also comes sealed to prevent it from any kind of tampering. The wipes are available in two size variants; 10 wipes and 25 wipes. Both the variants have similar packaging. Overall, the packaging is basic, functional and travel-friendly.

Texture and Fragrance: These purifying neem facial wipes have very soft and velvety texture. It feels so smooth and soft over the skin and does not irritate the skin. These wipes are moist enough which makes them glide over the skin effortlessly. The wipes are white in colour and has strong neem fragrance. I personally love the neem fragrance, but some may find it overpowering. The length of these wipes is good enough and almost covers my round face.

Usage/Result: When coming to usage, I usually opt for facial wipes to remove dirt and impurities from the skin. I rarely use them as makeup remover. However, on the lazy days and during travelling, these wipes are my saviour. These wipes cleanse the skin perfectly and make it free from oil, dirt and grime instantly, providing soothing effect to it. A single wipe is enough for making skin super clean. I personally find neem fragrance soothing, hence the wipes refresh up my mood instantly. The formula of these wipes is mattifying, but does not make the skin dry after wiping out. The wipe does not leave any residue behind and does not make skin look greasy at all.

When coming to the claim of removing makeup, it is true. These wipes are effective in removing makeup, but takes a while in order to do so. However, neem wipes take a little less time than aloe vera wipes. When I wear long-wearing makeup, then at that time I need 2-3 wipes to make the skin makeup-free. Other than that, the days when I wear normal makeup, only 1 or 2 wipes is sufficient. It effectively takes of every kind of makeup, but takes time to remove long-wearing and waterproof makeup completely.

When coming to the claim of removing waterproof mascara, it does so. However, in order to remove waterproof mascara, it takes a few swipes. In the process, the wipes doesn’t irritate the eyes. The wipes are really gentle in true sense. Moreover, these wipes are alcohol-free and dermatologically tested.

Overall, these wipes does what the brand claims. However, to remove long-wearing makeup and waterproof mascara, number of wipes and swipes needed are more. Hence, I prefer to use them as regular cleansing wipes and sometimes to remove waterproof mascara only. Not to mention, if you are into makeup removing wipes, then do try them out. These wipes will not disappoint you.

I have used both the facial wipes – moisturising aloe vera and purifying neem – and the only difference between them is their key ingredients. Other than that, these wipes works similar in removing makeup and impurities. Choose aloe vera wipes if you like to have moisturised skin, while go for neem wipes if you want mattified skin.
