Sharing a quick review of these eye masks from Forever 21. These gel masks come in different shapes like cucumber slices and strawberries, and are meant to soothe your stressed eyes. Now let’s start with the review.

My Experience with Forever 21 Strawberry Eye Mask Set:

The product comes in a transparent pouch. It has an adhesive seal, but I wish it came in  zip lock style, as the adhesion weakens over multiple uses. The product details are written on the back of the product. It hardly makes sense to have product details printed in white, in tiny fonts on a silver background. Like who would bother putting so much effort in trying to make out words?

The eye mask basically includes two gel patches, which look like strawberries, more like a 2D version of the luscious juicy red strawberries! The eye mask is large enough to cover the eyes, but the shape makes it slightly difficult to place it conveniently. You will definitely need to lie down or tilt your head all the way back to keep these patches in place.

I use these masks after cooling, but I store them at room temperature. I have used them a couple of times and they help in de-stressing my eyes. If you pour over into books or stare at screens for large parts of the day, a mask like this can help you cool and soothe your eyes. The cool eye mask also helps to fight puffiness and although I don’t have puffiness, I feel that using this mask before eye makeup helps in giving me a fresher and “more awake” look with minimal products.

Overall, I love that these are re-usable and handy. A headband attached would be very cool, it would help you to just place this on your eyes even during lunch hours at your office desk.
